Do I have to add custom code to my blog in order to make BlogMaestro work?
This may shock you, but no, you do not need to add any scripts or specials files to your blog in order to use BlogMaestro. We have spent months working on our technology to provide our members with a completely hands-off technology. You do not need to know anything about scripts or code in order to use BlogMaestro.
How do I know if my blog has an RSS feed?
If you are using any of the popular blogging applications (Blogger, TypePad, WordPress) then chances are your blog is automatically publishing an RSS feed. If you are unsure, please consult your blogging application’s Help files.
How long does BlogMaestro take to capture my new blog feeds?
Before any new member can register with BlogMaestro we make sure that we have the ability to read the blog’s feed. Once the new member successfully registers, we then capture the feed. In order for us to broadcast a BlogMaestro member’s post, the member must write a new post, allowing up to 24 hours for us to process it.
What does it mean when I see that my post had an unsuccessful broadcast?
From time to time, we attempt to broadcast a member’s post, but the feed is rejected. Should this happen, we offer users the ability to resubmit the post manually, by logging into their account and resubmitting. In order to prevent spam, we restrict re-posts to the member’s most recent post. If the repost is successful, the unsuccessful broadcast is ignored and does not affect the member’s account.
What blogging applications does BlogMaestro support?
BlogMaestro supports any blogging application as long as the blog has an active RSS feed. Typically all blogging systems support RSS and it is enabled by default. If our system recognizes your blog during the signup process, your blogging application is supported.
Why is my URL undetected during the signup process?
There are many reasons why a user’s URL is not detected during the signup process. This does not mean there is anything wrong with the user’s blog; it simply means that our system is having problems reading the blog’s RSS feed. We use this verification step to prevent feeding problems down the line. If our system has problems detecting your feed, you will be given a short form to fill out. One of our customer service representatives will use this form to investigate and resolve the issue.
Do you offer an affiliate program?
